Well I'm blogging about yesterday, since there were people in my house that day, and did not have to opportunity to blog. I was bored so I slept while they were still there. Anyway, it's SJI vs ACS(I) in squash friendly. As expected, SJI, the school I'm in, got pawned. Fear not, ACS(I) has good players no doubt. I won my match 3-2. The funny thing about my team is that, I broke my racket on Thursday, and the another guy burst his string on the day itself. Of all the 365days we have, it must be today. Why? Why like that??
I played to first 2 sets with my broken racket. The tension was not there, thus I could not play a drop shot. I could, but it always hits the tin. Come to think of it, I never did a sucessful drop throughout the match. I just kept playing crappy drives. Halfway through the match, my coach passed another racket. It was a Prince racket. I hate Prince rackets. They have a heavy head and I just can't hit well with em'. I could not play properly. The drives I hit were always touching the side wall. My drops were either too low or just too freakin' high.
My opponent was also quite tyco. He got dunno how many nick services. I just tried to keep myself cool. I was frustrated but, if I'm frustrated, I can't play well.
Then the guy in-charge of the whole event, kept asking me to ref/mark the match. I had to do it match after match. It's like, ref finish match --> go down give him the score sheet --> seat down watch match --> ask me ref another match. Then it continues from phase one. I shall not criticise one of their players for his really bad behaviour. Nope I will not elaborate on that point.
Oh and catered food was little.
